IGD - 20

Description
The IGD-20 Test is a 20-item scale used to assess IGD based on the nine criteria set by the DSM-5 that also map to Griffith’s six component model of addiction. The DSM-5 proposed nine criteria to be included in the diagnosis of IGD: ‘‘(a) preoccupation with games; (b) withdrawal symptoms when gaming is taken away; (c) tolerance, resulting in the need to spend increasing amounts of time engaged in games; (d) unsuccessful attempts to control participation in games; (e) loss of interest in previous hobbies and entertainment as a result of, and with the exception of, games; (f) continued excessive use of games, despite knowledge of psychosocial problems; (g) deceiving family members, therapists, or others regarding the amount of gaming; (h) use of games to escape or relieve negative moods; and (i) jeopardizing or losing a significant relationship, job, or education or career opportunity because of participation in games.’’.

JAMAR

Description
The JAMAR (developed by Filocamo et al 2011) is a parent/patient-reported outcome measure that enables a thorough assessment of the disease status in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). It includes 15 items that assess well-being, pain, functional status, health-related quality of life, morning stiffness, disease activity, disease status and course, joint disease, extraarticular symptoms, side effects of medications, therapeutic compliance, and satisfaction with illness outcome. The JAMAR is proposed for use as both a proxy-report and a patient self-report, with the suggested age range of 7-18 years for use as a self-report.

STAXI

Description
The STAXI contains 44 items measuring state anger (10 items), trait anger (10 items) and three anger expression factors: anger in (AI; eight items), anger out (AO; eight items) and anger control (AC; eight items).9 These scales assess how individuals generally react or behave when they feel angry: trait anger measures how prone individuals are to experiencing anger, while AI assesses how frequently an individual suppresses their anger, AO gauges how often an individual expresses their anger towards other people and AC determines how often an individual tries to regulate their anger. A general index of anger expression can also be calculated from anger expression factors (i.e. AI plus AO minus AC plus 16).

Description
Assesses the domains of : Grief/Loss, Anxiety/Mood (Internalizing Symptoms). It is to be completed by the parent/caretaker who spends the most time with the child. The CBCL/6-18 provides ratings for 20 competence and 120 problem items paralleling the Youth Self-Report (YSR) and the Teacher’s Report Form (TRF). The CBCL/6-18 includes open-ended items covering physical problems, concerns, and strengths. Parents rate how true each item is now, or was within the past 6 months, using the same 3- point scale utilized on the YSR and TRF. The CBCL/6-18 yields scores on internalizing, externalizing, and total problems as well as scores on DSM-IV related scales.
