Brief-IPQ

Description
The Brief IPQ was designed to rapidly assess cognitive and emotional representations of illness . It was developed by using one question that best summarises the items contained in each subscale of the Illness Perception Questionnaire-Revised which has over 80 items. The Brief IBQ comprises 5 items on cognitive representation of illness perception: consequences, timeline, personal control, treatment control, and identity. There are 2 items on emotional representation: concern and emotions. One item is on illness comprehensibility. The last item is on perceived cause of illness, in which respondents list the three most important causal factors in their illness

Description
Tool for assessing health status in children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Evaluates activities of daily living (ADLs) considered by expert opinion to be important and often difficult) for children with arthritis. The childhood HAQ has been adapted from the Stanford Health Assessment Questionnaire. At the present time, only the sections on disability and discomfort and pain have been adapted for use in children. Disability is measured in the categories of dressing, arising, eating, walking, hygiene, grip, and activities. Discomfort is determined by the presence of pain and its severity. It may be is either parent- or self-administered. For each of these categories parents are asked to record the amount of difficulty their child may have. Parents are requested to note only those difficulties that are caused by arthritis.

COPCORD

Description
The World Health Organization (WHO) and the International League Against Rheumatism (ILAR) initiated the Community Oriented Program for the Control of Rheumatic Diseases (COPCORD) project in 19814 . The aim of the program was to collect data on the burden of illness brought about by rheumatic disease and to institute preventive measures such as educational interventions. A number of countries have participated in this program and have used the WHO-ILAR COPCORD Core Questionnaire (CCQ) to determine the prevalence rates of rheumatic diseases in their countries. The English version of the CCQ includes questions on 7 domains: pain, symptoms (tenderness, swelling, and stiffness), trauma, functional ability, coping, health-seeking behavior, and treatments received. (Al-Awadhi, 2001)

JAMAR

Description
The JAMAR (developed by Filocamo et al 2011) is a parent/patient-reported outcome measure that enables a thorough assessment of the disease status in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). It includes 15 items that assess well-being, pain, functional status, health-related quality of life, morning stiffness, disease activity, disease status and course, joint disease, extraarticular symptoms, side effects of medications, therapeutic compliance, and satisfaction with illness outcome. The JAMAR is proposed for use as both a proxy-report and a patient self-report, with the suggested age range of 7-18 years for use as a self-report.

PROMs for spondyloarthritis

Description
Patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) are questionnaires patients complete on their health and quality of life. The information collected from PROMs can help to monitor patient progress, help professionals and patients discuss health issues with each other and/or help to improve the quality of health services. This PROMs was developed for use with patients suffering from spondyloarthritis diseases. One side includes 10 activities of daily living (translated CASQ-FI), 10 items to assess quality of life (translated CASQ-QoL), VAS for spinal pain, joint pain, global status, fatigue, duration of morning stiffness, review of the systems, falls and cardiovascular risks, self-helplessness as well as self-reported joint and soft tissue pain.
